PrideStaff is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Powder Coater for a first-shift opportunity with one of our premier manufacturing partners. You will play a crucial role in our client's facility, ensuring their high-end marine searchlights and security products meet rigorous durability and aesthetic standards. Key Responsibilities:

• Surface Preparation: Pre-treat, clean, mask, and hang aluminum, steel, and custom cast metal housings.
• Precision Application: Operate manual and automated electrostatic spray equipment to apply uniform, corrosion-resistant coatings.
• Curing & Production: Manage batch oven carts and conveyor lines, ensuring precise temperature and cure cycle regulation.
• Equipment Maintenance: Execute efficient color changes and maintain spray booths and filters to prevent contamination.
• Quality Assurance: Inspect finished parts for coating defects, run/thin spots, and proper thickness using specialized gauges.
• Safety First: Maintain strict adherence to all safety protocols, including proper PPE usage and hazardous material handling.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of industrial powder coating experience (particularly with metals and cast components).
• Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints, schematics, and work orders.
• Physical stamina to stand for long shifts and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable working in an ISO 9001-certified manufacturing environment.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $23.00 - $23.00
